Monday Night Food Sharing
Join our weekly group that goes out to downtown Orlando to feed the homeless, and learn
about poverty issues in Central Florida. We will be distributing Peanut Butter and Jelly
sandwiches, and any other food that we have for the week. Also, you will be hanging out
with other Rock for Hunger Volunteers, giving the homeless some company, and someone
to talk to. Simple conversation can be very healing, and motivating.
Helping men, women, children, & veterans
Currently we are providing food to needy individuals and family every Monday. We are in
the process in developing education programs that will help the homeless, and those
living in poverty develop skills that will help them find work, shelter, identification, and
more. Our goal is to provide them with the tools to help them end Hunger, Homelessness,
and Poverty. This program will expend very shortly. It is in our current plans to start a
second day each week in Orlando, FL that will help more children, and offer after school
tutoring programs for them.
